Mark Collins – Big Dragon “Yikes!”–From 2010 to 2020 “China is set to nearly double its military spending…”

This should sure get the attention of PEOTUS Trump–the rest of the headline:

…as an arms race heats up in Asia.
China’s defense spending will balloon to $233 billion in 2020, up from $123 billion in 2010, according to a new report by IHS Jane’s.

  1. Nixon and Kissinger brought the US together with China vs the Soviet Union, which was the main threat at the time. Might Trump–sensibly–recognize China as the major growing threat to the US and see an eventual possibility of working with the Bear vs the Dragon? Remember that realistically Chinese and Russian interests have little in common in Asia, nor do the Chinese share Russian interests in Europe or the Middle East.

Just wondering. Rather “Wishin’ and hopin'”

After I wrote the above I saw on “The Situation Room” on CNN, at around 1732 December 13, a reporter outside the NY Trump Tower saying that PEOTUS considers China the number one geopolitical issue (cannot find a video). Hmmm.

One needs to keep one’s eye on the big geopolitical game in the Heartland:
